HOUSE RULES & TERMS LACUNA upholds the highest standards for event rentals, following all City, County, and State health mandates. Adherence to the rules below ensures smooth operations. For inquiries, please contact us. Bathrooms Bathrooms are shared by guests and staff and must be treated with respect. A bathroom attendant is required for events with 50+ attendees. Notify the Site Representative if bathroom supplies are low or need attention. Cleaning Duties Clients, planners, and/or caterers must perform basic cleaning duties, including cleaning kitchen areas, wiping surfaces, emptying trash, and sweeping floors. Professional cleaning is included in billing. Failure to empty the fryer incurs a $150 fee. Event Space Only authorized personnel may access event spaces during the rental period. Clients are responsible for the conduct of all hired personnel. Doors/Interiors The front door is for light supplies only; all other deliveries must use the rear. The front door must remain closed unless staffed by security. Clients will be billed for damages to walls or floors. Heavy equipment requires prior approval. Food & Drink Red wine, dark, sticky, or energy drinks are prohibited. Warm food must minimize odors. Outside vendors and menus require approval. Hygiene All staff must follow Los Angeles County health rules, hold valid ServSafe certifications, and comply with COVID-19 protocols. Kitchen Cooking or using hot equipment is prohibited unless specified in the contract. The kitchen is for food and beverage display only. Load-In/Strike No noisy or disruptive behaviors during deliveries. Load-in/strike hours: 7:00 AM–12:00 AM (exceptions require prior agreement). Use rear doors only. Delivery paths must be clean and protected. Parking/Deliveries No alley parking except for pre-arranged short-term drop-offs. Observe street parking signage and avoid stopping on Jefferson Blvd. Event staff must park away from LACUNA; clients must arrange event parking. Rental Inventory Outside vendor equipment must be picked up by the next day or removed by 12:00 AM. Additional site representative time will be billed. Waste Removal Use designated waste bins and recycle properly. Excess trash removal incurs a $200 fee. Overflowing trash will result in penalties. Venue Manager A venue manager is required for all events.
