From stunning floral displays to delicious cocktails, BLACE’s Spring Soirée was the perfect way to celebrate the season with some of New York City’s top vendors. The event was held at 548 West, a lavish five-story space built in 1920 that once served as the home to DIA Art Foundation and Center and a temporary residence for major global brands, including Fendi, Gucci, and Hyundai-Genesis.  

With 50,000 square feet to work with, this event space can comfortably host up to 2,000 guests for a much-anticipated product launch, holiday party, or art exhibition. About the Event 

BLACE’s vendors know how to celebrate when the sun comes out and the weather gets warm. Our Spring Soirée kicked off on the rooftop of 548 West, offering breathtaking views of the Hudson River and unmatched hospitality from the city’s brightest, most talented professionals.  

The festivities carried on into the night, allowing our guests to enjoy picturesque sunset views, atmosphere lighting, dancing, and personalized portraits capturing their happiest moments. Our goal was to create a night our guests would never forget, a feat that wouldn’t have been possible without our star vendors. 

Meet Our Dream Team

Our vendor partners came through for our Spring Soirée to create a memorable evening while striking a perfect balance of sophistication, charm, and fun. If you’re planning your lavish event, here are some vendors to consider.  

Creative Edge Parties 

A women-owned catering company, Creative Edge, has distinguished itself as a thought leader in the industry by providing food that is both simple and brilliant. While guests mingled they enjoyed craft cocktails, delicious finger foods, a BBQ burger bar, and childhood nostalgia-inspired desserts. The company’s food and beverage offerings are theme-driven, meaning their catering services can be customized to match your event. Whether you’re hosting a large-scale production or an intimate dinner party, Creative Edge’s professionalism and innovative catering will leave a lasting impression on guests. 

Sterling Design 

Spring is known for its colorful, blooming flowers, so it was a no-brainer to decorate our event with a custom floral creation by Sterling Design. They were asked to make an impact on a 40x50 tent and responded by supplying a stunning customized plant chandelier with greenery and blue accents suspended above the bar, giving our guests an eye-popping display to gush over while grabbing drinks. This Asian and women-owned business offers full or a-la-carte services for office decor, corporate events, weddings, and so much more. You can also access plant maintenance services for long-term interior decorations to keep your floral arrangements thriving.

RentQuest 

Whether you lounged under the tent on a lush velvet sofa or gathered with friends at one of the many high tops throughout the event, we have Rentquest furniture to thank for the luxe and comfortable seating and beautiful decor that defined the event. From fashionable banquettes to illuminated displays, RentQuest sources the latest design trends from around the world to ensure our clients are on the cutting edge of style. 

Wizard Studios 

Wizard Studios set the mood from the moment guests arrived. Greeted by an oversize birdcage and pink and purple uplighting, Wizard Studios’ immersive lighting transported guests from the ground floor to the rooftop. Our favorite moment was when the sunset over the Hudson, and oversized BLACE and Wizard logos mapped against the outside wall for all to see. Drawing Booth 

When planning a memorable event, booking a fun, experiential touch can take the experience above and beyond. We decided to partner with Drawing Booth, an interactive vendor that captures guest's portraits through hand-drawn, digital illustrations. The artists mingled among the crowd using the latest technology to create personalized portraits that are printed using mobile printers. Add this unique entertainment option to your next social or corporate function.  

DJ Stef Nava 

If you attended our Spring Soirée, we saw you tearing up the dance floor! DJ Stef Nava has over 15 years of experience and offers a versatile music selection that can adapt and mold to any client’s style. As an accomplished music composer for TV and commercials, her music expertise and comprehension extend far beyond your average party-rocking DJ, rendering her an ideal option for a private or corporate event.
